From 624b98864499af892d13527670b6be0964b85210 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laurent Vivier Date: Wed, 16 Sep 2015 16:03:52 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 10/22] spapr_pci: populate ibm,loc-code MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Message-id: <1442419432-8537-6-git-send-email-lvivier@redhat.com> Patchwork-id: 67787 O-Subject: [RHEL7.2 qemu-kvm-rhev PATCH 5/5] spapr_pci: populate ibm,loc-code Bugzilla: 1263795 RH-Acked-by: Laszlo Ersek RH-Acked-by: Thomas Huth RH-Acked-by: David Gibson From: Nikunj A Dadhania Each hardware instance has a platform unique location code. The OF device tree that describes a part of a hardware entity must include the “ibm,loc-code” property with a value that represents the location code for that hardware entity. Populate ibm,loc-code. 1) PCI passthru devices need to identify with its own ibm,loc-code available on the host. In failure cases use: vfio_:::. 2) Emulated devices encode as following: qemu_:::.
