From faac242ec5c7430ffd303718653865e0a5945b40 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Peter Xu Date: Thu, 18 Aug 2016 03:00:39 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 21/37] x86-iommu: introduce IEC notifiers RH-Author: Peter Xu Message-id: <1471489253-2811-21-git-send-email-peterx@redhat.com> Patchwork-id: 72005 O-Subject: [RHEL-7.3 qemu-kvm-rhev v2 20/34] x86-iommu: introduce IEC notifiers Bugzilla: 1358653 RH-Acked-by: Marcel Apfelbaum RH-Acked-by: Paolo Bonzini RH-Acked-by: Radim Krcmar This patch introduces x86 IOMMU IEC (Interrupt Entry Cache) invalidation notifier list. When vIOMMU receives IEC invalidate request, all the registered units will be notified with specific invalidation requests. Intel IOMMU is the first provider that generates such a event.
